Existing Customers/Accounts 

Can I still access my existing account?  

You can still access your existing account, and will be able to do for a few more weeks. After this time you will not be able to login to this platform. We recommend downloading any reports you’d like to keep and storing them securely on your device. We will advise a final date soon. If you’re trying to retrieve reports after the platform has been closed please email us at help@accountests.com 

What happens to tests that I’ve already purchased? 

If you have purchased tests and have test links that are unused, you will still have a few more weeks to use them. After this point, please email us at help@accountests.com with your original order number and/or date and we will replace your link with a new one. Test links do not expire. 

 

Tests 

Are there any changes to the tests? 

The content of all tests will stay the same. No questions will change. However, in response to requests to give candidates more time to complete their test, we have increased the time limit on most skills tests from 30 to 40 minutes. 


Why has the test time limit increased? 

The time limit of skills tests that were 30 minutes has been increased to 40 minutes in response to many client’s requests to give candidates more time.  When the tests were unproctored the time constraint was an important mechanism to ensure candidates did not have the time to look up answers.  The downside was a reasonable proportion of candidates didn't complete all the questions, not giving you the hiring manager as many data points as you would have liked.  With proctoring we largely eliminate cheating, so it is sensible to allow more time to obtain the extra and valuable hiring data.

From a comparison perspective for our competency framework based tests this change makes no difference as comparison is to the framework not a norm.  For our norm based tests our advice received is that it will make a small but not material difference based on an examination of the original norms.  Some care may be required if comparing the result for a candidate who has 40 minutes to complete a particular test vs one who had 30 minutes, especially if the latter candidate did not finish all the questions.  We will update the norms based on the new data as soon as we have sufficient numbers.  

 

Reports 

The reports look different! 

Reports have had some design upgrades, but all of the information within the report remains the same. 
 

I need help understanding my report 

New customers will continue to get personalized feedback on their first report. For established customers we will have a brand-new range of Report Interpretation Videos available to walk you through the new reports. We’re also happy to answer your questions or jump on a call – simply email us at testing@accountests.com 

How can I access my candidates report? 

Once your candidate has completed their test you will receive a notification email with a link to their report. Click the link, enter your login details, and your report will download automatically. If it is your first time accessing the new testing platform, you will need to create a password. Please check your Report Access Link email for instructions on creating a password, or email us at help@accountests.com 

Can I access them any time? 

You can access information and reports about any test you’ve purchased by logging into the new testing platform. If it is your first time logging in to the new platform you must first create an account. To do this, click the link in the Report Access Link email received at the time of purchase, or email us at help@accountests.com. If you access the platform regularly, we recommend you bookmark the Testing Platform and keep your login details handy. 

Why do I have to login to access my report? 

Test reports contain personal details and sensitive information that should not be shared outside of hiring or professional development purposes. The requirement of logging in to access reports and candidate results increases privacy protection for those whose data is being held. 

How can I access Proctoring Reports? 

Proctoring reports are available for you to review once the candidate has completed the test.  Please login to the New Platform and navigate to Manage Remote Proctoring from the Dashboard. You will then be able to locate the test and view the report. 

What happens to reports in my existing account?

Proctoring 

What is Proctoring and how does it work? 

Th
e testing platform utilizes AI to proctor your online test. Throughout the duration of the test the participants webcam will capture images to detect and record any instances of cheating. At the end of the test a report will be available to the test purchaser outlining any infractions

 

Why have we introduced Proctoring? 

We have introduced proctoring in response to technological advancements and the evolving capabilities of AI. Our current measures can detect when a candidate is cheating, but proctoring provides additional assurance to our customers. Additionally, proctoring has enabled us to extend the duration of our tests, allowing candidates to answer more questions and provide more data points for assessing their skills. 

 

What will proctoring detect?

Instances such as loss of focus on the test screen, leaving the test browser tab, attempting to screenshot, multiple faces, two different faces, and leaving the testing environment will all be detected and recorded in the report.

 

Accessing Proctoring Reports 

Proctoring reports are available for the test purchaser to review once the candidate has completed the test. Log in to the New Platform and navigate to Manage Remote Proctoring from the Dashboard. You will then be able to locate the test and view the report. 

 

What if my candidate doesn’t have a webcam? 

Access to a webcam is a requirement for proctoring. Your candidate must have and allow access to a webcam to start the test.

 

What if my candidate doesn’t need to be proctored? 

All tests are configured to require proctoring, and this setting cannot be disabled for individual candidates. If you and your candidate have agreed that proctoring is not necessary, you can ask them to cover their camera. However, they must still grant the testing platform access to the camera. 

 

What if I want to opt out? 

If you prefer not to use the option of covering the camera and would like to opt out of proctoring, please email us at help@accountests.com so we can explore alternative solutions for you. 

  

Accessing the New Testing Platform 

First Time Access 

Whether you’re an established Accountests user, or a brand-new customer, you will need to create a password to access the new platform for the first time. To do this, open your Report Access email (received at the time of purchase) and follow the highlighted instructions to set up a password. If you have trouble, please email us at help@accountests.com 

Ongoing Access 

Once you’ve set your password you can access the new testing platform by logging in any time. If you access the platform regularly, we recommend you bookmark the Testing Platform and keep your login details handy. 

 

Accessing Reports  

To access candidate reports simply log in to the Testing Platform.  

You can log in directly to the Testing Platform, via your Report Access Link, or via your Report Notification emails. 

If it is your first time logging into the platform, you must set up a password first. You can do this by following the highlighted instructions in your Report Access email 

 

Accessing a Candidate’s Report When They Complete a Test  

When a candidate completes a test you will receive a Report Notification email with a link directly to that report. Simply click on the link, enter your log in details, and your report will automatically download. 

  1. Once a candidate completes a test you will receive an email with the subject line “A participant has completed their questionnaire” 
  2. Click the link in the email to be taken to the new testing platform 
  3. Log in with your credentials 
  4. Your report will automatically download. Please save it securely 

 

Accessing Candidate Reports with Your Report Access Link 

Each time you make a purchase you will receive a Report Access Link email. This link directs you to the new testing platform where you will find a history of all your test purchases and reports.  

  1. If it is your first purchase, please follow the instructions in the email to set up an account. 
  2. If you already have an account, click on the link within the email and sign in to the testing platform. 
  3. From the Dashboard click on “Analysis Center” 
  4. Click on “Campaigns” 
  5. You’ll see all of your test purchases listed in tiles. The number at the start of each heading is the order number, followed by the test name, and the date of purchase. 
  6. Click on the heading of the test you’d like to see the report for 
  7. You will see a list of all candidates to complete the test. 
  8. Click on the corresponding link under ‘Reports’ to download a copy of that report to your device. Please save securely 

 

Accessing Proctoring Reports 

  1. Log in to the new testing platform  
  2. Click on “Manage Remote Proctoring” 
  3. Search for the correct test by scrolling the tiles, or using the search bar function to search the order number of name of test. 
  4. Select the test tile, select the candidate, and view the report 
  5. The report will show the candidate’s photo and list any infractions that occurred during the test.
