What does this test cover?

The SALT Test assesses knowledge skills required for Preparation of Sales Tax returns and Review of Sales Tax returns.

This test assesses competency at the level of Preparer and Reviewer.

Preparer - can prepare returns using information provided by the accounting system, and show sufficient understanding to know how different items should be treated

Reviewer - can review returns prepared, and consider technical aspects, so the organization has confidence returns are correct. Will identify areas where higher level advice may be required.

The test includes 20 questions, with a time limit of 20 minutes.
